Just had to reproduce these swoon-worthy photos from the New York Times. They’re from an article titled “Dive Into Darkness” about Hugh Jackman’s return to Broadway in Jez Butterworth’s play The River. Feast your eyes…
Jez Butterworth is the author of the instant hit Jerusalem, which starred another favorite of mine, Mark Rylance. Playwrights should not be allowed to be this good looking. As for Hugh, well, I’m sure his brain is very nice. But let’s face it, he has the body of a Greek god. I love him for that, and for the fact that he plays Wolverine but also dances on Broadway. In gold pants.
And because I can’t resist, another one of Jez with his equally delectable brother John-Henry:
As I always say… Hugh is huge! 😀
Example of how to be even more beautiful inside than outside; his devotion for his wife makes my sigh-o-meter rise every time he mentions her in twitter or instagram (practically always :D)
Being as I am an ignorant I didn’t know that gentleman (name too complicated to repeat without copying and pasting); he reminds me Roger Allam
Yes, I remember reading that Hugh is rather uxorious! A lovely quality in a man 🙂
Jez Butterworth isn’t that well known yet, but I hope to see more of him. Or at least more of his work 🙂 I think he writes screenplays, but the only one I can recall is “Edge of Tomorrow” with Tom Cruise.
Thanks LM for starting my day with some beautiful eye candy. (Yes, I am sure they are beautiful on the inside too….) ☺️
Believe me, it was my pleasure!
He’s even more beautiful in person! Inside & out! 😀 😀 Lovely man.
Also front & back!! 🙂
Ha ha, you dirt bird 🙂
