Oooooooooooooh, how beautiful are they!
Have they come out yet…?
Oh, and I forgot to way: Congrats on your new arrival(s) 🙂
say, I meant.
I better go and get some lunch…
Many thanks! They are still hiding. I expect they’ll be in there a few days, given their history. We will be patient;)
They are so beautiful! Congratulations! I’m so happy they have each other. I miss my girls so much. 😦 But they lived to be a good old 19 years old, so can’t really complain. Hope they come out soon. 😀
19 years! What a gift. These two are just 1 and 2 years old, so we expect to have them around for a long while. Plenty of time to get over their bashfulness.
Thanks for the comment;)
‘Furry’ romantic! Any sign of them yet? Cute story!
I just spent a couple of hours in their room. I heard various snoring and licking noises, and finally gave in to the temptation to peek under their tent. Aubrey was grooming Winnie, and they gave me an offended look like, “Intruder!” so I left them in peace.
Awwwww how cute! They might never come out!!
Hello Linnet, Is Winnie the long hair one, she looks so much like my Sara. Sara passed a little over 12 years ago but she still comes to mind every once and while, she was a dear. I watched The Affair today, I’ve had the CD for about a year but hadn’t watched it because I knew that the subject matter would be upsetting. Racial bigotry weather in the past and lets be honest in the present from slavery to Stand Your Ground, Stop-and-Frisk to the disrespect shown to President Obama and everything in between are truly upsetting to me. Actually bigotry is the scourge of man. BUT on a much lighter note, Ciaran was so handsome and that voice, “Hello, Darling”… also did you happen to notice what a lovey butt Ciaran had not only in this movie but also in the kissing scene in December Bride! (If not do your self a favor and check it out) I wanted to reply in a private e-mail because the only topic on the web site should be about Ciaran, Yours in Ciaran, Liz PS: Hope your not offended by my closing. – Just trying to be funny?!?!
Hi Liz! Aubrey is the calico and Winnie is the grey one. Winnie looks a lot like Fiona, whom we lost a few weeks ago. I know what a heartbreak it is to lose them and I’m sorry about your Sara.
I have not watched “The Affair” yet, for the same reasons you mention, but you have given me some excellent encouragement! Truly, I admire the man from all angles 😉 and btw it’s pretty difficult to offend me 😉
I think you should write your thoughts about “The Affair” on the message board too, Liz. There’s not enough activity there, and I would always love to see more. Very few people have talked about that film, so it would be fun to have a discussion.
Thanks for commenting!
Our Oscar was feral when we adopted him. He spent the first eight months of his life in a garbage dump. He was very skittish for the first several years – spent almost two years under the bed all day long. He has made a lot of progress – comes up to us for pets, lets you briefly pick him up, and has finally learned how to play. It is a special person that adopts those shy kitties. They are very lucky.
We had a feral Oscar too! We called him Oscar the Grouch. He never wanted to be adopted or let anyone come near, but we fed him and gave him a bed in our garage. He liked to sit in the yard while my husband gardened or raked leaves. He died in his bed, and that was the first time we touched him.
I wish you and your Oscar many more good times to come. He has made such wonderful progress! And thanks for this lovely story.
Edible and adorable. Two furballs of fun for February. I wish you much health to enjoy them and a thousand laughs for the days to come. 🙂
Thank you very much;) May your good wishes return to you many times over!
