Absolutely! We have actually never had a kitten because we always adopt the adult cats, knowing that it’s harder for them to find homes. And, I like knowing a bit about their personalities before I bring them home. But I admit to some serious kitten envy!
I would love to bring them home, but I don’t think we are ready to add another cat yet. When we do, it will probably be an older, mellow male who can take Jerome’s antics in stride. But I stop by the shelter regularly, and when I saw these in such a cute pose, I couldn’t resist snapping a picture! It looks like Fred has his arm around Ginger 🙂
Well they’re definitely adorable, especially cute because of the opposite markings. I wish to have a kitteh, but wish too to keep breathing (allergies :/).
they are the cutest things ever and i am so not a cat person :-)) Too bad you can’t take them but i am sure you are right, a grown up cat may need you more as harder to find a good home, i am sure the right one will come along at the right moment :-)))
But good also you get to enjoy these little cuties when you visit the shelter :-))
When I go, I feel sad that I can’t take every single one of them home! We find it very easy to place dogs and even have to bring in dogs from other shelters to meet the demand. But there are never enough homes for the cats.
well, yoove been to “my house.” usually the local shelters “run out of” kittens real fast — and, yes, the older ones do need a good home. ‘cept, as you saw, the local shelter had 17 kits ! and our 1-yr-old had gone walkabout so Betty acquired two (and, of course, Alice, the year-old, came back … )
Awwwwww! I love kittens! 🙂
Me too!
Or consider adopting a wonderful adult cat! They need homes too, and won’t pounce on your head at 2 am! 🙂

I always have kitten envy too! I’ve had both, and am partial to the adults for all the reasons you’ve stated. I love them all!
Are Ginger and Fred your latest little darlings or are you in consideration?

For one moment there, I thought you had added those two sweeties to your line up! Aw, gorgeous…. sigh.
If I can’t have kittens, I can at least have kitten pictures galore 🙂
Too right 🙂

Oh, too bad about the allergies! But at least you can have a dog 🙂
Adorable. Yes LM, I am sure the seemingly inexhaustible well of internet kitty cat photos will keep you entertained for a few more years yet. 😁

strange, i would have thought cats are equally loved as dongs, when i grew up and we lived in a house with garden and not a flat we always had both 🙂
